Born from years on the water and a obsession with what makes fish strike. The El Diablo is The Fish Candy's take on the classic rooster tail spinner — redesigned from the blade up for maximum flash, vibration, and action in high alpine rivers and lakes.
The Story Behind the Bait
Every serious angler has a go-to spinner. Ours just didn't exist yet. We took the bones of the classic rooster tail — the spinning blade, the hackle tail, the weighted body — and rebuilt it with better materials, tighter tolerances, and color combos dialed in for New Mexico and Colorado waters. The result is the El Diablo: a bait that looks alive in the water and fishes like it knows where the trout are.
